Today was our third day at Rajeshwari Foundation. Its inmates are happy when we go there in the morning. We sang them songs. Some of them sang to us. All the staff there take care of the inmates very well. At 11 o'clock they have milk to drink.  Everyone eats a well-balanced diet there. Today there was food. We served them all. We ate the same food. In three days we made good friends with all the mothers there. We left there at 3:00 p.m.

Everyone reached Rajeshwari Foundation by 9:30 today. We all stayed in the institution in Jagati. They have two institutions in Jagati. There are about 13 inmates in one place and about 10 inmates in the other building. All 12 of us took turns in two buildings. Spent a lot of time with the mothers there. Attended Dr. Elizabeth's class on palliative medicine from 12.30 to 1.30. It was a very useful class. The doctor took the class very well on the drugs used for cancer and palliative care. Today there was food. Today was O.P day. That's why many people came to give food. It was 12 of us who served food to all those who came for Annadanam. Then we again engaged in conversation with its inmates. Then at three o'clock we said goodbye to them all and returned. Today was a very good experience.

Today was the first day of our four days of community work. We went to Rajeshwari Foundation in Jagati. We reached his office exactly at 9:30. 12 of us went from Kavyattu College. After registering our attendance, we also attended the class of President Advocate Suresh Kumar sir. Sir took a class on palliative care. The class lasted from 10.30 to 12.30.Then eight of us went to their own branch, Poojapura Rajeshwari Foundation. I saw many bedridden patients there, all of them were elderly. We had our lunch from there. Then we went up and saw all the patients. Spent time with them. There are about 35 inmates there. Most of them were women. They shared their experiences with us. We left there at 3:00 p.m.

We conducted our Annual sports on 12th January 2024 in the college ground. We all assembled on the ground at 9.30 am. Warm Sun welcomes all of us. Naseer Sir officially inaugurated our Sports day then Liby mam delivered a speech followed by oath took by Abin. Then a Torch light relay also happened. All students are very excited and ready for the events to be started. Many events like 100m(race boys and girls), 50m race(boys and girls) , 1000 m walking for boys, 500m walking for girls, discus throw, shot put were conducted. All of us participated in all events without any hesitation. Sports is always about participation. Refreshment team arranged drinks and snacks for enhancing energy of the participants. After each event, there was a medal giving ceremony. Nishad Sir is the Caption of the ship for this day.   In the afternoon session, indoor games like carroms and chess takes place. We the students of Kaviyattu College of Education conducted a Capacity Development Program based on the topic 'psychological Aspects'. The program was conducted in the Auditorium. Deepthi mam, Libi mam and Junaid Sir were the judges for this program. All Departments participated in the program with various themes.  All Departments presented skits on defence mechanisms, Id, ego and superego, emotional intelligence, intelligence test, maladjustment etc. This program was a showcase of various hidden talents of Students. It was also part of 1st Semester phycology.  We, natural science department choose the psychological aspect "defence mechanism" and each of us played our role taking maximum effort. As a result of our hard work we got 9 marks out of 10. Deepthi mam appreciated us for our effort and we all were so happy . She also suggested some points for improve.  On January 5, the national service scheme programme at kaviyattu college of education, led by Nishad Sir, kicked off with our initiative called 'sneharaamam'. the focus was on reducing plastic pollution and promoting eco-friendly practices. together with Nishad Sir, Naseer Sir, Junaid Sir, and Libi Mam, first year students cleaned a waste -dumbed area near Vembayam junction, specifically targeting the waste storage area of Maanickal panchayath along MC road. it was a collaborative effort to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

  NATURAL SCIENCE ASSEMBLY January 03, 2024                         The College opening after Christmas vacation starts with our assembly. Assembly was hosted by Vishnupriya, the assembly starts with the prayer by Vishnupriya followed by pledge of Amritha. Arya shared the thought for the day and Akshay delivered Motivational story about Lionel Messi. He also suggested a movie which was a true inspirational drama '12th fail'. Sasya delivered a special pledge on biosphere conservation. "Biosphere Connect" is the theme of our assembly. Bhagyasree presented an inspirational story about the 'The forest man of India',it was very interesting.Then Amritha conducted an entertainment section with some funny questions and bhagyasree conducted a quiz section. Veena teacher gave review of our assembly at the end. The assembly ended with the national anthem.
