As part of the world Yoga day, we Kaviyaattu College of Education also taken part of this celebration of unity and Well-being. Our theme is 'Yoga for self and Society'. The main objective of the program is to raise awareness about benefits of yoga, promote a healthy lifestyle and foster global unity. We conducted a Yoga demonstration section and discussed importance of yoga in daily life. Yoga is a powerful agent for well being and self improvement.

On 20th January, we conducted a Anti-Drug abuse program in our college for providing knowledge about drugs and it's effect. Respected Jyothish Sir(SI) was the chief guest of the program. Respected principal Deepthi mam welcomed sir in the presence of Naseer sir.  The class was really informative for our future and present journey. Jyothish sir shared his experience and knowledge on drugs and also informed about NDPS and laws. Sir also informed about the dangerous side and physcological side of drug abuse with some real incidents. This drug abuse awareness have a huge importance in our daily life and we have some social responsibilities to do. The section was really amazing with food participation from students. We are really thankful to Sir for  gave his valuable time to  share with us. At last we also take a group photo with sir.

World Environment Day, celebrated annually on June 5th, is a reminder of our responsibility to protect and preserve the environment. It's a great opportunity to raise awareness about environmental issues and take action to make positive changes in our communities. We conducted our assembly with the name 'Thalir' and based on 2024 environmental day theme. Vishnupriya anchored the assembly, Tahani delivered the prayer song, Amritha delivered the speech and l delivered thought of the day and Sasya presented Newspaper section. Ardra with the speech and bhagyshree with the moral story  and Akshay delivered special pledge on environmental day and a quiz section. We gifted seeds to the participant and also shown 2 documentaries based on our theme and conducted Nature friend, which gave everyone a opportunity to participate in the celebration.  Then we conducted a poster making competition, spot photography challenge and slogan writing competition.
