TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 3
12/8/2024- day 8
We all came before 9.30 and marked our attendance. After that prayer was sung by the school choir team. As per the timetable I had no class but got substitution period in 9 E. Then we served the mid day meals in the lunch break. After noon there is a social science exhibition, students present their still and working model of different concept. All the students who participated in social science exhibition do their best and everyone's work were creative. The whole day went well and we left to the school after 3:30 p.m.
13/8/2024 - Day 9
The day started with a prayer song. After that we followed our usual procedure by marking the attendance. I had class on 9th E division . Today there held an independence Day quiz competition under the social science club. Many students have participated in it, in addition to this there is a poster making competition held by the trainee teachers. The poster making competition is based on the world organ donation day. Then we served the food and relaxed in the interval time. In the afternoon section Kavitha shilpashala program for budding writers. The program was coordinating by Bhuvanendran Sir. He took the class well and sang variety of Malayalam poems for students. The whole day was very good and after signing the attendance register we left school.
14/8/2024
Day progressed with usual procedures. We also managed some substitution periods. Today there held a water colouring competition in the school auditorium. Many students took part in it. After water colouring competition there was an Aksharamuttam quiz competition for High school and higher secondary students. As part of independence Day program students of NCC, SPC and JRC were given practice. The whole day well gone and done our duties with in the time.
15/8/2024
We celebrated the 78th Independence day in the GGHSS Attingal School. We reached the School on 9.00 am. The flag was raised by the Headmistress along with the PTA members, teachers and students. There was a parade by the SPC , NCC and JRC students which followed by many colourful programs and speeches. Sweets and flags was delivered to all students. The celebrations made me to remember my school day celebration also. Headmistress and teachers was very happy with our participation and presence. The programs ended after 11.00am. 

16/8/2024
We all came before 9.30 am and signed the register. Today was the School parliament election and the all school was ready to celebrate the day. Classroom sides and walls are filled with candidates posters. SPC and NSS students lead the election procedures with the help of teachers.
We also helped the teachers and students in our way. We also have duties for the election. In the afternoon, the result was announced and elected members had a meeting to create the school parliament team. School parliament elections play a vital role in fostering a sense of democracy, leadership, and responsibility among students. By simulating real-world democratic processes, these elections prepare students for future civic engagement and leadership roles, empowering them to become active and responsible citizens. After 3.30 pm we all part away from school campus.
