TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 2

  DAY-6 25/11/2024 Mondays are the beginning of new opportunities and with every new day, we have the chance to learn and grow. As per the timetable I had periods no class but got substitution classes in  9th classe. The auditorium was filled with kalolsavam practice. Overall the day was completed smoothly. DAY- 7 26/11/2024 Today starts with a pleasant prayer by the prayer team. I had no class on 8th standard and 9th standard Then I went to a substitution period  9E and interacted with the students. We parted away after 3.30 am. DAY-8  27/11/2024 The day begin with the usual routine. Welcomed by greeting from the children and it creates a warm smile on my face. 4 SEMESTER TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 1

  DAY 1 - 18/11/2024 Today market the beginning of our 4th semester teaching practice. We arrived at the school promptly at 9:00 a.m. and after submitting the permission letter to HM and finding the register,  procedure to the auditorium. The space was lively filled with the vibrant children rehearsing for their kalolsavam. According to the time table, today I had no classes but got 2 substitution classes. i took a class on 8th with an innovative model which was a spinning wheel, with that i took the topic classification more engaging. After noon we serve food for students. SAHASRAM - A DAY AT WAGAMON HILLS

  The fifth day of our residential camp was truly special as we embarked on a one-day trip to Wagamon, a breathtaking hill station in Kerala. Our journey began at 3:00 a.m., filled with excitement and anticipation. Accompanying us were our faculty members, Mrs. Veena S.R., Mr. Santosh, and Mr. Nasir. All 54 of us were present, ready for an adventure. After traveling for hours, we stopped for breakfast at 8:00 a.m., refreshing ourselves before continuing the journey. At exactly 10:00 a.m., we reached our first destination—Wagamon Meadows. The vast, green landscapes were a sight to behold, offering a serene start to our trip. Next, we visited Karikkad Viewpoint, where we admired the stunning scenery. Our next stop was Pine Forest, a dreamy destination with towering trees and cool weather.   The final session of our camp was an exhilarating aerobics session led by Ms. Rinta Roy, an experienced aerobics instructor from SAI LNCPE, Kariavattom, TVM. The session kicked off with an introduction to the importance of exercise and how it benefits our body and mind. To begin, we engaged in a warm-up session designed to relax our muscles and stretch our bodies. The instructor then introduced us to basic aerobics steps, starting with simple moves and gradually increasing the intensity. Each segment consisted of three sets of moves, and as the pace picked up, so did our enthusiasm. With energetic music playing in the background, everyone gave their best effort to keep up with the fast-paced routines. The environment was filled with excitement, laughter, and determination as we moved to the beat. It was an engaging and lively experience that left us feeling refreshed and energized.   Trekking to the Hilltop The third day of our residential camp began with an exciting trekking adventure to a nearby hill. We had always admired it from afar, and finally, we got the chance to climb it. The fresh air, scenic views, and team spirit made it a memorable experience. We returned by 8:15 a.m. and had breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Session 4: Illuminating Your Path At 10:00 a.m., we attended an insightful session by Mrs. Umadevi, a freelance counsellor. We were divided into groups and given case studies to analyze. Each group identified the problems, causes, effects, and possible solutions. The session deepened our understanding of student issues and how to address them effectively. Visit to the Old Age Home In the afternoon, we visited a nearby old age home. The peaceful surroundings, flowering plants, and vegetable gardens created a serene atmosphere. The residents, all male, welcomed us warmly. SAHASRAM - 2ND DAY OF RESIDENTIAL CAMP

  Today marked the second day of our residential camp, and we kicked off the day at 6:00 a.m. with a refreshing start, getting ready for our morning exercises. Nishad Sir led us through a set of warm-up exercises that prepared us for the activities ahead. By 8:00 a.m., we gathered for a hearty breakfast, fueling ourselves for an exciting day. The third session of the day was all about theatre practice, conducted by Mr. Rajesh Chandran, a talented director from Thamp Theatre Academy in Trivandrum. We were initially expecting an acting-based class, but the session turned out to be more than we imagined. Mr. Rajesh focused on body-mind coordination, mindfulness, and spatial awareness. Through a fun and engaging game, we were assigned numbers that corresponded to certain actions, and we had to perform them when called out. SAHASRAM - FIRST DAY OF RESIDENTIAL CAMP

  Today marked the beginning of our much-awaited residential camp, "Sahasram." We arrived at the college by 9:30 a.m., all set with our essentials for the journey. The inaugural ceremony kicked off at 10:00 a.m., with our respected principal and staff officially launching the camp. The morning session began with an engaging class by Vivek Sir, a teacher from Manacaud school and an alumnus of our college. His class was full of activities and interactive learning, making it a fun start to the camp. We wrapped up the class at 12:30 p.m., and then it was time for a well-deserved lunch break. In the afternoon, Sir Shiyas Ghan led a clay modelling session. We were given balls of clay and encouraged to mould them into various shapes, allowing our creativity to flow. It was amazing to see the diverse models we created, from animals to imaginative objects. The session ended at 4:30 p.m., and we had a refreshing tea break.     After the teaching practice we all get back to the college today. Today was a colorful day with vibrant celebration in the college. The juniors set a nice program as part of the Keralapiravi. Sweet and paayasam was delivered as a part of joy followed by programs. The new college union pledged and officially starts their journey. We discussed some camp facts and splitted back to home.
